IO Builders Leadership
The Builder Behind IO Builders Group
Meet the founder behind IO Builders Group—craftsmanship, transparency, and hands-on leadership guiding every project from concept to completion.
A Legacy of Structural Excellence
The Breaking Point
IO Builders Group was founded out of sheer frustration with the traditional remodeling industry. For decades, homeowners were forced to play the middleman between independent architects, flaky general contractors, and disconnected tradesmen.
This fragmented process consistently resulted in blown budgets, compromised designs, and severely delayed timelines. We knew there had to be a better way to build luxury in San Diego.
The Unified Solution
Our in-house structural engineers designed a custom steel support system, allowing us to safely remove the intrusive walls without compromising the roof load. We then installed custom Amish-crafted white oak cabinetry, extending it flush to the 10-foot ceilings to maximize vertical storage.
To anchor the new open-concept space, we sourced a single, massive slab of Italian quartzite to create a 12-foot waterfall island, serving as both a culinary prep station and a luxury dining focal point.
Setting the Regional Standard
The transformation is breathtaking. By executing both the complex engineering and the fine finishing in-house, we successfully delivered a sun-drenched, high-performance kitchen that completely redefines the property's value and livability, all while adhering to La Jolla's strict permitting timelines.
Design vs. Reality
Visualize Your Remodel with Advanced 3D Design
Before construction begins, our team brings your project to life through detailed 3D visualization. This process allows you to see the layout, materials, lighting, and finishes in a realistic digital environment. Instead of relying on imagination or flat blueprints, you can clearly understand how every element will look and function in your space.

"A successful project is more than a finished space. It’s a process built on trust, clear communication, and the expertise of a team committed to doing things the right way."— Guy Elbaz, Founder
